How it works

As the horse ages, digestive efficiency decreases, and horses that have always been sensitive become even more reactive to grains, sugars and starch. 18Plus Sensitive eliminates conventional grains and molasses, has very low sugar (5.9%) and starch (4%) content, and uses fibre and fats as main energy sources. The TruEquine™ Postbiotic supports gut health (70% of the immune system is in the gut), reinforces immunity, and contributes to joint wellbeing, three areas particularly fragile in senior horses.

Recommended daily feeding

330 grams per 100 kg of body weight:

• Pony of 300 kg, 1 kg per day
• Horse of 600 kg, 2 kg per day

One full Pavo feed scoop contains approximately 1.1 kg.

Preparation instructions

Can be given dry as muesli or soaked in water as a mash. To prepare as a mash, mix 1 part Pavo 18Plus Sensitive with 1.5 parts warm water and soak for 10 minutes (warm water) or 20 minutes (cold water).
