Pavo FibreBeet is a fibrous mash formulated for thin horses or those in low body condition with difficulty gaining weight. Combines SpeediBeet (flaked beet pulp), alfalfa and digestible soy fibre to provide stable energy and quality protein without grains. Ideal for body condition recovery and muscle development support in horses that lose weight easily.

How it works

Thin horses or those in low body condition need extra calories without the problems associated with grain-based feeds (behavioural heating, gastric risk, glucose spikes). FibreBeet solves this with a combination of highly digestible super-fibres: beet pulp (SpeediBeet) provides slow and stable energy; alfalfa gives high-quality protein for muscle development; soybean hulls complete the functional fibre profile. Grain-free, with low sugar (5%) and low starch (3%), it is safe even for sensitive horses. Results in body condition are visible over 4 to 8 weeks of continuous use.

Pavo FibreBeet is a fibrous feed, it does not contain added vitamins or minerals. If your horse is fed primarily on FibreBeet and forage, complement with a vitamin and mineral balancer such as Pavo Vital or Pavo DailyFit tablets to cover daily needs.

How to prepare

Soak in water in a 1:3 ratio (FibreBeet:water) for 15 minutes in warm water or 45 minutes in cold water. The pellets absorb all the moisture and transform into a soft, tasty mash.

Recommended daily feeding

• Base dose: 100 g per 100 kg body weight
• Maximum: 1 kg per 100 kg body weight

A full Pavo feed scoop contains approximately 1.15 kg (dry weight).
