Fiber is the most important nutrient for a horse, besides water. Horses cannot survive without fiber, and therefore it is extremely important to provide fiber in sufficient quantity and quality, even if your horse, for some reason such as poor teeth, cannot ingest normal sources of fiber like hay or straw.

Horses with dental problems are unable to consume long fibers. All fibers in Pavo SeniorFibre have a maximum length of 3 centimeters and are therefore considered short fibers. In addition to their special length, they are soft and tender and do not contain alfalfa.

Pavo SeniorFibre contains no molasses or grains, and therefore has a very low sugar and starch content. As such, Pavo SeniorFibre is also especially suitable for horses suffering from metabolic problems or excess weight.
