How it works

The horse's stomach produces acid continuously. Without constant forage to buffer this acid, or with starch-rich feed that ferments and worsens acidity, the horse develops ulcers in the gastric lining. Pavo GastricEase solves this through three routes: it provides abundant structured fibre to promote salivation and natural acid buffering; uses very low starch content to reduce gastric fermentation and acidity; and incorporates specific ingredients that support mucosal integrity. Difference vs gastric supplements (GastriCover)

GastriCover is an intensive supplement, used on top of normal feed for active ulcer treatment. GastricEase is a base feed, replacing daily concentrate. Horses with diagnosed ulcers can use both together (GastriCover as targeted treatment, GastricEase as continuous base feed). Horses in prevention or with mild sensitivity can use GastricEase alone.

Feeding recommendation

As a base feed, the amount depends on the horse's weight and workload. For an average 500 kg horse in maintenance, about 2 to 3 kg per day, split between two meals. Adjust according to work and body condition. Follow label instructions and coordinate with your vet in diagnosed ulcer cases.
